It's the morning of the last day of the year 2008, nothing much to say, as it always happens with me i don't say much but believe me i am trying to change that.Anyway i can say that this was a good year, a lot of new experiences, first work now the studies, i have meet some nice people, made some good friends and been to interesting places. It could have been better but I'm happy with the way it went.
I just hope that the year 2009 will more and successful and hope that life will bring some good experiences and to have good health and be happy, that's all.
It's the last and many people celebrate this day(night) somehow but I have no idea what do since usually i stay home and watch TV but since here we don't have TV then who knows, maybe I'll do nothing at all hehehehe.
Two days ago me and my friends were invited for lunch be our professor, Brian Francis. We went at his house, met his wife, we talked a bit about Kosova while drinking tea, because Brian's wife has never been to Kosova and she was interested to know more about it. Lunch was delicious and i really enjoyed talking about different things. After lunch we had tea again of course in a British way by adding milk to the tea, which is a bit add but not that bad, it's how people from around here drink it. Then prof Brian wanted to show as some good places to visit, so we went to visit some places not far away from the Lancaster, we had fun for sure, but it was cold and fogy it was hard to see anything, but we enjoyed being in some places where local people go on weekends.
I wish the 2009 will be a happy year for everyone and all the best!

Dr Pepper

Recently i tried for the first time Dr Pepper (yeahhhhhh ahhhahaha) funny!
Yes well it might sound funny but to me it looks somehow like a taste hat i have tried before, like somekind of candy or something, but i like it! It's definitely a different taste from Coke and Fanta that we (Albanians) love so much. By the way no one should be 'amazed' from the fact that i haven't tasted dr pepper before because in the situation that we( most of Albanians) have lived for years did not create a favourable circumstances to travel and have the chance to try different thinks! But things change right! It is very encouraging to see Albanians and in general people form south east Europe thinking of future and leaving aside secondary things! Lot of students that are Albanians that study here in Lancaster have a very positive point of view about the world and life in general which i believe can be taken as a sign that young people from Kosova are developing a new way of thinking about everything which i believe will send Kosova towards a development and progress. But usually big changes take a lot of time to take place which is something that is happening with Kosova which for the moment is going through difficult times (politically and economically speaking), so we will see how everything goes. Please don't forget Kosova and it's people in your prayers!
